Inspirational Sensational

Yeah...the title doesn't make sense...I just wanted them to rhyme. haha!

But anyways, as what the title suggests, I've come across some inspirational stuff while browsing through the news feed in my facebook account. Oh... the joys of having artist friends...thanks, Karlene, for sharing! :)

First off...is a short film by Kirsten Lepore. The film's nominated for "Short of the Year 2010". Pretty amazing stuff! :) Here's the link to what she did:

I really like Mr. Wood's works because it reminds me of the stuff I'd look at for hours as a kid to let my imagination fly all over the picture. Good times...good times. I hope someday I'd be able to do the same thing...better work on it though! hah! Hopefully when I get used to the whole schedule of my job and other responsibilities that go with being a fresh-from-college-working-girl :))

Also, as I was on my way home....I saw this commercial on the TV of the bus I was in. I can't help but laugh by myself while watching it. Seeing it again, I realized quite a few things that are highly related to my personal life a couple of weeks ago. But eh...that's just me :)) -- and no. I don't have a boyfriend still. It's a long story! So just please enjoy the cute commercial! Haha!!

It's not really in the heart that we're causing pain to ourselves, but in our minds that refuse to let go of things that are over. With that thought, let us then let the images go out the back door of our heads...and sleep soundly tonight, and move on! -- with Sara Bareilles as a themesong as we walk out this dark memory lane...hahaha :D

but yeah...i should take a breather and 'zoom-out" for a while because I'm really starting to like him too much that it hurts... :/ breathe, Gabi, breathe, it's just a freakin' crush...get your priorities straight. haha.

The Day for Fools~

Something for April.

Not really in a good mood lately...

I came to realize

first doodle, my mom gave me this idea of giving drawings to people who feel down -- or well...basically whoever God would tell me to draw for *shrug*...and well, someone at work was upset the other day...so I drew this. Haven't had the chance to give it to him though. Ah well.

final illustration -- something to cheer us up somehow. haha. :) I wanted to give this to someone...but eh...oh well. It can apply to anybody anyways...so I hope this would put a smile on your face too.
