So there was this little buzz about a free seminar called Playspace, sponsored by Acer Philippines and Intel. I learned about it from the ever fabulous Robx Bautista while we caught up a week ago just to doodle and eat our guts out at binondo. Hehehe!
And...it was because of them that I now learn how true these famous words are:
"The best things in life are free"
Oh they are...they very much are. Especially when your favorite local band was there for the closing event to rock the house down with their beautiful music. Plus the awesome surprise of a "meet and greet" the musicians after the whole shebang! What more can you ask for?!
Not to mention that I need to get over my emotional problems so what better way to do it than get out of the house and go under the radar for a day. Heh!

It was the first time I saw them live. I was mindblown, and my guts kept telling me to get my pen and journal to start drawing. At first I was reluctant, but what's stopping me right? It's good practice too anyway. So I ran to get my stuff and started doodle-dancing while they kept playing their awesome new tunes. One of the best days of 2013.

God they're so amazing. My legs were shaking the entire time they were signing my journal and taking a picture of my sketches of them. Next time I'll do a better fan-art of them that's post worthy....but for now...this will do.
I really love how despite the bad-awful start April threw at my face, it generously decided to blossom into a lovely surprise of new opportunities I can experience. I'm just so happy how things turned out for the better in the end, and I can feel that it's only the beginning.
Will post more about what happened in April some other time, I just had to let this out!
